St. John Regional School offers an After School Program for students in Pre-K through eighth grade. These sessions begin the first week of school and are operational when school is in session. This program is available Monday through Friday from 3:00pm - 5:30pm, with the exception of school vacations, holidays, professional development days, and early release days.
The After School Program is supervised by the faculty at SJRS, and it offers a safe and happy environment where students can complete homework, and enjoy supervised play time. Our faculty works together to provide individual attention and security in an atmosphere of respect and understanding.
If your child/children participates in after school activities, i.e. basketball, soccer, math etc., and he or she attends the after school program until the activity begins (or after the activity has ended), the family will be charged the program fees.
After School Program Fees
Students who are signed into the After School Program at 3:10pm will be charged a full day fee. The After School Program rate is $20 per student. Any student who is in th After School Program for any amount of time will be charged the full $20.
The After School Program ends promptly at 5:30pm. If you pick up your child later than 5:30pm, you will be charged a late fee. The late fee is $1.00 for the first five minutes that you are late and an additional $1.00 per minute thereafter.
Families will be billed bi-weekly for the After School Program, and the payment is due upon receipt of this invoice. It is important that all accounts be kept up to date. If a balance is more than 30 days in arrears, the child/children will not be allowed to use the After School Program until the account is paid in full.
Please have all pickup persons prepared to show us a photo ID.
Please call your child's homeroom teacher, or the main office, if you need to add/delete a child from the program, or when someone other that a custodial parent will pick up your child. We will not let your child leave with someone we do not know.
