Diagnostic Assessment for Reading and Mathematics
Students in kindergarten through grade 8 will participate in the iReady Diagnostic Assessment for Reading and Mathematics. iReady is an adaptive and diagnostic tool designed to provide teachers with valid, reliable, and easily interpretable data. This assessment will help educators identify students' strengths and learning priorities, offering a comprehensive overview of classroom dynamics as well as individual student performance. Testing will occur three times a year—in September, January, and May—to assist teachers in monitoring student progress. The insights gained from these assessments will enable teachers to better tailor their instruction to meet each student's unique needs.
Students have the opportunity to access personalized lessons at both school and home via the iReady instructional platform, following their assessment. It is important that students refrain from using the instructional platform at home during the assessment windows. You can access the platform through this site: https://login.i-ready.com/. If your child requires their login information, please reach out to their teacher or contact Mrs. Henley at mrshenley@stjohnregional.org.
