First Grade Teacher – Full-Time
St. John Regional School, Concord, NH

St. John Regional School in Concord, NH is seeking a qualified, faith-filled, and enthusiastic full-time First Grade Teacher for the upcoming school year. Founded in 1888, St. John Regional School is a private Catholic school serving students from PreK through Grade 8, rooted in the values of Faith, Charity, and Truth.

The ideal candidate is a creative, mission-driven educator who joyfully supports the school’s Catholic mission, builds strong relationships with students and families, and creates a warm, structured, and engaging classroom environment where young learners can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with curriculum standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field preferred/required.
  • NH teaching certification or eligibility for certification preferred/required.
  • Experience teaching in an elementary classroom preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of St. John Regional School.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Teacher Aides – Full-Time (with Part-time option)

St. John Regional School in Concord is seeking full-time (with the option of part-time) teacher aides for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, energetic, nurturing and open to working collaboratively. Applicants are required to follow the teacher’s lead. St. John Regional School in Concord is seeking two aftercare staff members for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic, nurturing individuals with strong communication skills with parents. Applicants are required to supervise and support children in a non-classroom setting. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety of our students, facilitating activities, and maintaining accurate record-keeping. We offer competitive pay of $15-$20 per hour.

Technology Teacher – part-time
St. John Regional School, Concord, NH

St. John Regional School in Concord is seeking a Technology Teacher. A technology teacher in an elementary school plays a crucial role in helping students develop essential computer skills.

Requirements and Essential Job Functions:

Must be amenable to teaching the Catholic faith and have a sincere desire to foster faith and teach children.
Must have a working understanding of child developmental psychology.
Must promote an engaging classroom presence and understand the value of real-world learning.
Must possess skills in communication, listening, collaboration, adaptability, empathy and patience.
Must be able to work actively and collaboratively with faculty and exchange best practices.
Must engage in ongoing Professional Development through participation in the school cohort, Diocesan initiatives, and independent attendance at workshops and possess a lifelong love of learning.
Must create curriculum maps and lesson plans for instruction in Religion, English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Must conduct regular formative and summative assignments of students.
Perform other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in education, concentration in specific academic subject matter, or equivalent experience preferred. *The diocese will work with uncertified individuals to become state certified educators.
An understanding of the Catholic faith and a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church is preferred.
Ability to complete the Safe Environment protocol trainings and successfully pass a background and criminal history check.
Excellent communications skills, verbal and written; excellent human relations and interpersonal skills.
Must be a self-starter; well organized; perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work with efficiency.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and individually.
Proficiency in computer technology for the use of standardized testing platform, professional development platform, and curriculum mapping platform.
Ability to represent the Diocese and the school community.
